Pinch me. This doesn’t feel like it’s my life. Was this all really a dream? I mean, how else would something like that happen to me?
Yet another scene with a suited and dapper gentleman- but a new one with far more potential than I ever even fathomed to attain.
“Men like you aren’t interested in girls like me.”
“You have these preconceived notions about me. You’re wrong. You are gorgeous.”
I had wanted/desired a partner in crime to join me at this fancy Yelp Elite Party- Dancing with the Yelpers, but the weeks ago that I got the invite, nor even that night as I walked arm in arm with the hottest man at the entire party, did I expect it to be a reality.
Pinch me. This doesn’t feel like it’s my life. Was this all really a dream? I mean, how else would something like that happen to me?
The party was gorgeous. Lush deserts, wine, a cavalcade of meats and cheeses spanned the L shaped counter.
“There should not be ribs here.” he said as he did his best not to get anything on his crisp white shirt.
“It’s like watching a gay man with you. It’s adorable.”
We walked outside to the patio and sat at a table that had nametags. A woman wanting to have a drink afterwards walked up to the door.
“What is this? I wanted to come by here and check it out because I haven’t been.”
“Do you want free food and drinks now?”
The woman seemed shocked. We pointed to the nametags. No one was watching.
“Just put your first name and the letter of your last name on here. Walk right in. No one will know any different.”
“Really?”
“Yes really. Now what’s your name.”
“Shelly.”
“Welcome to the party Shelly.”
